The Houston Texans may need 4 new starters on the defensive line for the 2021 season. Pair that with the notion that new DC Lovie Smith will likely bring his patented Tampa 2 defense and the need for impact defensive linemen continues to rise. The Tampa 2 thrives on getting pressure by just rushing four players and thus this article will try to find us some Defensive Ends in the 2021 NFL Draft. A fun exercise would be to provide DE options in each of the 7 rounds, as even though DE is a huge need, the draft is always about finding value. So, let’s take a look at 7 of my favorite DE options in each round.

Ahhh NFL Draft season, undoubtedly my favorite part of the offseason and a perfect distraction from the drama engulfing Texans fans' psyche right now. With an altered NFL combine this year, the Senior Bowl is the main event and best place to gain more insight into many talented prospects. For a full list of all the players attending you can look here and I encourage you to do your own research and let me know which prospects intrigue you!
As for this article, you’ll be getting 10 quick looks into my top targets for the Texans to pay attention to. I’ll be diving into prospects who are projected to be drafted in the 3rd round or later (don’t feel the need to look at 1st/2nd rounders until the doomsday scenario occurs). So, let’s get into it!

Earlier this summer Deshaun Watson hosted a summer reading challenge for kids in the Houston area called “4 Books for #4 Summer Reading Challenge” in partnership with Ashley HomeStore. The winners aged 7,8,11 & 14 all received a $10,000.00 shopping spree at Ashley HomeStore to make-over their rooms, and on top of that Deshaun took them all to Footlocker and purchased them and their siblings all brand new shoes!
He didn't stop there though. Last night Deshaun surprised the 4 winners from the reading challenge with scholarships to the school of their choice. Education is one of the pillars of the Deshaun Watson Foundation, and Deshaun felt honored to be able to provide these kids with a long term goal and reward them and their families for their hard work and commitment.
The families were left speechless at the gesture by Deshaun Watson. Deshaun just wants to do his part to give kids hope and inspiration for a better life. Education has always been a priority for Deshaun and his mother, and now he has the opportunity to share that with others who continue to...

As a dramatic flame casts across NRG, wild rumors spawn from national media and "Fire Easterby" chants are spread throughout the internet, Nick Caserio still has a job to do. Many athletes dive into business ventures outside of sports to boost their portfolios and build long term wealth for generations and their families. Deshaun Watson is no different. Deshaun recently brought a new franchise to Houston that is based in Detroit named Lefty’s Cheesesteak. Not your ordinary big named brand like a McDonalds or Burger King which a lot of star athletes attach themselves to, but then again Deshaun doesn’t have a normal portfolio when it comes to business ventures. He’s also part owner in a Tech Company in Rally, a Nutrition Company in Zurvita, and now a Cheesesteak franchise with Lefty’s. What stands out to me is Deshaun isn’t just attaching himself as a “Brand Ambassador” like some, he’s taking ownership. He didn’t just collect a check up front, do appearances and then just head to the bank, he wanted ownership instead of collecting a check. By taking ownership, it shows his commitment to the brands success and a willingness to be a part of their growth for the future. Another thing he’s investing is his time and passion to make sure these companies are...

One hundred and sixty.
That’s how many players were selected in the 2019 NFL Draft, before the Houston Texans selected Charles Omenihu in the 5th round. He’s never let that derail him; however, and no matter the circumstance, he’s going to work to prove he’s better than those one hundred and sixty players.
His sophomore stats this year may not jump off the page (5 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 TFLs per Pro Football Reference), but box score numbers don’t tell the whole story. In this article I’ll be diving into how Omenihu has been doing more with less, and become the most efficient pass rusher on the Texans.

Heading into the Week 6 matchup versus the Tennessee Titans, I was really excited to watch Left Tackle Laremy Tunsil and EDGE Jadeveon Clowney go to battle. Two of the best players at their positions, I was expecting a bloodbath. However, the Titans smartly avoided Tunsil (who has been dominant), rushing Clowney off the left edge majority of the time, versus Right Tackle Tytus Howard instead. Clowney seemed to have met his match, as Tytus played tremendously, all day long. Clowney finished with 2 tackles, 1 TFL, 0 sacks, 0 QB hits and 1 pressure. Let's take a look into why Tytus was so successful, and how he can continue to improve going forward.
